  • "X Congreso Internacional de Psicología y Educación" bajo el lema "De la red neuronal a la Red Social: Bienestar y Convivencia" of the Scientific Association of Psychology and Education (ACIPE) which was held in our city, Cordoba (Spain), in online format, from 14 to 18 June 2021. From the Laboratory of Studies on Coexistence and Violence Prevention (LAECOVI) we have the honour of chairing the Organising Committee of this tenth edition.

In this, the 19th edition, 723 scholarships are being offered, which are distributed in the following way: 283 postgraduate scholarships, 100 doctoral scholarships and short postdoctoral stays, 66 faculty mobility scholarships and 165 institutional study scholarships. To these, we must add 109 renewals of PhD scholarships, making a grand total of 181 academic programs, of which 143 are postgraduate programs. This call reflects the renewed role of the Carolina Foundation as a leading actor in Spain,  foreign action and development cooperation system. It also shows how it is one of the mechanisms which aims to contribute, simultaneously, to establishing the Ibero-American space for knowledge and higher education, strengthening of the Ibero-American Community of Nations, and implementing the 2030 Agenda, making education, science, technology and innovation, sustainability, and equality between women and men into key cooperation vectors in the quest for the advanced development that the Agenda requires. One of the novelties is the program of research stays carried out through the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB) as part of the framework of the Ibero-American Campus. This program has been opened up, for the first time, to Spanish researchers who want to carry out stays at an academic institution in any Latin American / Caribbean country which is part of the Ibero-American Community of Nations. The aim of these scholarships is to address the known gender gaps that still exist in subjects such as experimental sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM areas), in which the presence of women is proportionally lower. It is also worth noting that these institutional scholarships are continuing and expanding, with the aim of both strengthening Ibero-American public administrations and consolidating the doctoral program. Here, in this call, its coverage has been expanded and reinforced with the launch of a program aimed at the Pacific Alliance, as well as a differentiated program of STEM scholarships to train Latin American university students.

The deadlines for application to opt for the different types of scholarship are as follows:

The call for postgraduate scholarships will remain open until March 7, 9:00am (Spanish time).

The call for doctoral scholarships, short stays, teacher mobility programs and institutional studies will remain open until April 5, 9:00am (Spanish time).

Candidates can find all the information about these scholarships on the website www.fundacioncarolina.es
